MX5 engine cutting out

Wolfgang: Hi Björn, Wolfgang here. My NB is playing up again. Starts up fine from cold, but when the engine reaches operating temperature, it cuts out. Wondered if it might be the camshaft position sensor?
Björn: That’s a common cause. Couple of other possibilities too. Like crankshaft position sensor.
Wolfgang: I thought the fuel pump…
Björn: It’s on the list. Along with fuel injection relay and ignition coil packs. Bring it in and we’ll run a diagnostic.
Wolfgang: I’ll call a flatbed tomorrow and truck it over. Driving it worries me. It might break down and strand me.
Björn: I understand. Smart move, a sudden stall in traffic can be dangerous.
