the Boardwalk Café two friends recall…
Eric: I used to swim here as a boy. It was
rocky then. Nice sandy beach now.
Derek: That happened because they put in a rock
breakwater.
Eric: I knew a lady who used to swim here every
morning. No matter how cold the water. She lived way past 90. Jean was her
name.
Derek: There’s a seat with her name on it here.
Look.
Eric: So there is. For Jean. Seems her family
donated a seat in her memory.
