“Whatever is the matter, Cousin Benjamin?” asked Peter Rabbit.
“Tom the badger has just caught three baby white rabbits and put them in a sack,” said Benjamin.
“Which way did he go?”
“Up the hill, probably headed for his sett.”
Off they hopped. They found the badger fighting Tod the fox, and in the confusion Peter and Benjamin rescued the three white rabbits, alive, alive, oh!
