Hiro: So I go by bicycle to the shrine and throw a five yen coin in. My grandmother used to say five yen coins were lucky.
Kaori: Lucky? Not a big value coin.
Hiro: Not now. They were at one time minted in gold. They are called “go-en” which is a homonym for fate or chance or even luck.
Kaori: You throw a coin into the box?
Hiro: Then bow and pray for good fortune about something.
Kaori: And today?
Hiro: I’m thinking how I want to succeed at today’s tasks. I think I should be a number of things but to be Calm and to be Decisive might lead to Achieving what I need to do. Calm, Decisive, Achieving. CDA!
