Negative Covid test - whew

Spirits rise when what might have been turns out to be nothing after all…

Jack: Woke with a scratchy throat.

Diane: Uh oh.

Jack: Yes, and needing to fly in ten days with a negative PCR to be allowed to board.

Diane: Any other symptoms?

Jack: Right away I opened an antigen test, swabbed the nose and waited 15 minutes.

Diane: Negative?

Jack: When it turned out negative I was more than relieved. Danced a jig.
