Sharing knowledge, river blindness and the Nobel Prize

On sharing…
Masa: Amazing guy, Satoshi Ohmura. Won the Nobel. Art collector, businessman, golfer.

Yuki: A question. How do you think he achieved it? The Nobel.

Blind men being led by children,
 Ghana, 1950s, BBC
Masa: He discovered bacteria that helped cure river blindness. AND shared this knowledge with American professor William Campbell resulting in a joint Nobel Prize. And that lead to helping countless Africans cope with disease.

Yuki: I hear you. Message is sharing?

Masa: Ohmura also says that artistic imagination assists scientific discovery.
