Commander Martell: After the war, Gerald Palmer almost single-handedly, came up with this new design. Looks good, handles well, sprightly enough. Tows the boat.
Brilliant but flawed in some respects: overheating, breaking crankshafts, gearbox failures. See Richard Bremner. Could have sold more than 22,000 but for lack of resources, lack of testing.
