Olympic Games film: Visions of Eight

Telling a story without much footage…
.
Producer: How do you propose to show this? I mean, you were far away from the scene when it happened.
.
Director: We got some footage. Faroff, yes. But anyway, here’s what I propose. Noise of helicopters approaching. Photographers with cameras on tripods, standing on a wall, looking at distant buildings.
.
Producer: Uh huh. Beginning. Middle?
.
Director: Terrorist on a balcony. Armed police. We have the footage through telephoto. Chopper sounds.
.
Producer: Uh huh. Ending?
.
Director: Finally, the closing ceremony. Eleven empty chairs.
.
Producer: Ah. For the eleven slain athletes.
